Egypt

Egypt is a country located in northeastern Africa, with a small part of its territory, the Sinai Peninsula, extending into Asia. It borders the Mediterranean Sea to the north and the Red Sea to the east. Egypt shares borders with Libya, Sudan, and Israel, as well as the Gaza Strip.

Egypt is famous for the Nile River, ancient pyramids, temples, and the Sahara Desert. Its capital and largest city is Cairo, while Alexandria is an important coastal city. The Suez Canal connects the Mediterranean Sea with the Red Sea and is one of the world’s major shipping routes.
